"Sponsorship: A Success Model Crafted in the Beer Business"

Molson Coors, as an international best practices-led brewer, has learned some important lessons about the power of good sponsorship. In a recent UK-based business transformation project involving deployment of SAP, the Molson Coors team demonstrated the critical role that sponsorship plays in the success of projects of this type!

In this dynamic session, you'll benefit from these lessons learned, and you'll hear more about the colorful Change and Sponsorship story that this project used. You'll see, discuss and understand:

  • Key success factors for Sponsors

  • How to get your Sponsor on board - and keep them on target!

  • How to avoid pitfalls - it's not always as easy as it sounds

Just as there are three phases in managing change, there are three phases in managing Sponsors. You need to understand, and be able to lead effectively, in all three:

  • Setup - the role, the needed frameworks and expectations

  • Implement - the day-to-day impact of the Sponsor on your project

  • Review and Re-vise - working hand-in-hand with your Sponsor, to review Lessons Learned, and find paths to constant improvement

And, to keep you - and your Sponsor - on track, you can use a "SUDS" model to frame up your Sponsor's role and engagement. Come to this engaging session to learn more!

Key Takeaways:

  1. Key Success Factors - What does it take to be a good sponsor?

  2. Once Engaged, how do you keep you Sponsors motivated and on target?

  3. How to avoid Pitfalls? What do you and your Sponsors need to be aware of?

  4. SUDS - How to build a strong relationship with your Sponsors
