"Co-Active Change: Learning from
Coaching to Manage Change"
The co-active model of
coaching is one of the leading models of coaching and has
been in use for over thirty years. It is known for
generating lasting results for individuals and small groups
because it fosters ownership and commitment on the part of
the client. In this session, participants will learn about
the co-active model and how we can adapt it to change
management to increase the effectiveness of our
interventions. Participants will also learn the foundational
skills necessary to use the co-active model, including new
ways of listening, applying curiosity, forwarding action and
designing alliances. Internal and external change agents and
consultants alike can apply this model and its corresponding

experience greater ownership of their change management
strategies and commitment to the plans of action.
