"Leading Global Change: Making Cutting Edge Research Work for You"

Leveraging the PeopleNRG 2011 Global Best Practices Study on Leading Change (and 2012 follow-up study to be completed in Q1 2012) we will explore the best practices for leading any new organizational initiative, including learning initiatives. Additionally we will include relevant change research from IBM, Kotter, Prosci, eePulse, McKinsey and others. Featured in the April 2011 Issue of ASTD's T&D Magazine, our 2011 study asked 907 professionals from 51 countries about 16 factors which impact change implementation. This session will help Change Leaders infuse cutting edge change strategies into their approach and uncover practical tools that take their organization to the next level. We will do this by exploring the reality of the challenges that all Change Leaders and conduct exercises that explore how to overcome them.

Biography:
Since 1993, Lawrence Polsky has inspired and instructed thousands of managers and professionals on 5 continents as an author, speaker, coach, and trainer in the areas of leadership, change management, and team building. Some of the corporate, privately held, and governmental organizations he has served include GE, NASA, LG Electronics, The US Army, WL Gore, The City of New York, and Merrimack Pharmaceuticals.

Lawrence is a Managing Partner at PeopleNRG, a global change consulting firm in Princeton, New Jersey. He is co-author of Perfect Phrases for Communicating Change, Say YES! to Change: 27 Strategies for Motivating Yourself and Your Team and Perfect Phrases for Conflict Resolution. He has spoken to rave reviews at at Prosci, SHRM, HRD World Conference in Mumbai, among others.
