Marlee Lovatt
President, Third Stage Alliance |
Presentation:
"Change Management, Project Management and
Sponsorship - Mapping the Love/Hate Triangle"
This session will provide a lighthearted "tongue-in-cheek" look
at the relationship between sponsors, project managers, and
change managers with a focus on the challenges of integrating
their roles and responsibilities. Each group brings a unique set
of skills and attitudes to the problems facing organizations as
they strive to continually adapt to new markets, new
technologies, and new processes. The dynamics of this mix of
players can be brilliant, entertaining, and dumbfounding, but it
is rarely dull.
Have some fun spotting yourself, your favorite project manager
or sponsor among the archetypes presented. Enjoy some shared
stories of how molehills become mountains and vice versa. Find
renewed hope in your choice of change management as a career
path and validate that you are no crazier than the
change manager sitting next to you.
