"A Change Plan for a Change Plan? A
Journey to Increase Change Management
Effectiveness"
Who doesn't agree change
management is a good thing? It's like motherhood and apple
pie. That is what we have historically experienced in our
organization. But sentiment is different than action and
practice - and that is the journey our organization is on
now, a journey to bring greater consistency and capability
in how the organization practices change management. This
session will explore the process we have taken to understand
the current state of change management within our
organization, the organizational change management framework
we created as a result, and the work underway to make change
management "live".
Key Takeaways:
-
Identify the factors that
created the need for an organizational change management
framework
-
Gain a perspective on how
change management is defined and practiced in another
organization
-
Relate how a change
framework is being used to transition the organization
to a change framework
-
Apply lessons from this
journey to challenges and opportunities in their
organizations
