Presentation:
"Change Enabled PM: How to Work Yourself Out of a
Job"
Too much project management while macro in the Inception and
Elaboration phases, all too often result in micro development,
testing, and production phases. This leaves the "Eco-System"
that is impacted by the project deliverables with unnecessary
levels of resistance, due to lack of Change Management
follow-through. Using a case study, we will present simple CM
techniques that work well with Project Management styles (e.g.
RUP, Agile), and provide the stakeholders with deliverables and
outcomes that enable the project to move on to their next
venture with minimal requests to assist them with transitional
issues (i.e. Work Yourself Out of Job). We will show you how to
provide responsible 'service' to your stakeholders that empowers
them to embrace the changes your project engenders.
