Conference location

When and where is the conference?

The 2012 ACMP Global Conference will be held at the ARIA Resort & Casino located in Las Vegas, Nevada. The conference will be held April 1-4, 2012.

Who can I contact if I have questions about the conference?

What is the cost of attending?

Click on the register link to see conference pricing. There are discounts for early registration and group attendance.

What meals are included?

Your registration fee includes the following meals and events:
Sunday: Pre-dinner Meet & Greet Reception
Monday: Breakfast, Morning Break, Lunch and Afternoon Break
Tuesday: Breakfast, Morning Break, Lunch, Afternoon Break and Networking Dinner
Wednesday: Breakfast and Morning Break

How do I change my registration?

You can call the office at +1 970-633-0335 or email conference@acmp.info anytime if you have questions.

What is your cancellation policy?

The cancellation policy can be seen by scrolling to the bottom of the register page.

When is onsite registration?

You will be able to check in and collect your registration packet on Sunday from 11am to 4pm, at the Meet & Greet Reception on Sunday evening, or between 7:30 and 8:30am Monday morning.

What do I need to bring with me to the conference?

Just yourself and a stack of business cards! Your name badge and registration packet will be received during onsite registration.

Can I register over the phone?

Registrations are accepted online to expedite processing and ensure completeness of the form, please click the register button to begin. If you cannot register via the internet, please email conference@acmp.info for more options.

Can I use a form of payment other than a credit card?

Credit cards are the primary form of payment for the conference. If you cannot pay via credit card, please email conference@acmp.info.

When should I register?

To ensure your spot at the conference, it is important to register early. Space is very limited and the room availability is also limited. If you register before February 15th, you can save with our early registration pricing.

Can I get a discount for bringing my colleagues?

Yes, you can save $300 per additional attendee if you register more than one person from your company (all attendees must be registered by one person at the same time). This credit is applied during the registration process.

What is the schedule for the conference?

What time does the conference end on Wednesday?

The general conference will end at 12:30pm on Wednesday in order to allow for flights out that afternoon.  This schedule is subject to change.

Hotel and travel

Where is the hotel located?

The ARIA Resort & Casino is located at 3730 LAS VEGAS BLVD • LAS VEGAS • NEVADA 89158. It is approximately 15 minutes from the airport.

What airport do I fly in to?

The closest airport is McCarran International Airport (airport code LAS).

How do I book a hotel room?

There is a reserved room block for conference attendees at ARIA with a group rate. These rooms are limited, so we recommend making your reservations well in advance. You can make reservations by calling +1 (702) 590-7757 (please mention you are attending the ACMP Global Conference to receive the discounted rate).

Do I have to stay at the hotel?

While it is recommended due to the proximity to the conference and special events that will take place, it is not a requirement to book a room at the resort.

What is the cost of the hotel room?

The negotiated standard room rate for the ARIA Resort & Casino is $169.00 per night plus a $20 resort fee. This rate is also available on a limited basis for three days before and after the conference if you decide to extend your vacation and enjoy all that Las Vegas has to offer.  There are also a limited number of rooms at the per diem rate for government attendees - please ask about availability when you call to book. New for 2012: Book three nights at ARIA and receive $150 off your registration! This room block is limited, so it is recommended you make your reservations as soon as possible. 

What is there to do onsite?

The ARIA Resort & Casino has plenty of amenities to keep you busy during free time. They have multiple outdoor pools, a beautiful spa and fitness club and many restaurants. Of course, there is also a full casino if you want to play some games or you might want to take in Viva Elvis! by Cirque du Soleil.  Learn more on their website: ARIA Resort & Casino.

Are there restaurants onsite?

There are many restaurants at ARIA and in the surrounding CityCenter area, including everything from upscale dining to poolside service. View more at http://arialasvegas.com/dining/.

Will I have internet access?

Internet access is available in your hotel room and campus-wide at ARIA as part of the daily resort fee. 

What are my transportation options?

Taxis and rental cars can be picked up at the airport for the short drive to the hotel. Shuttle buses are also available for a fee.

Is there parking if I'm not staying at the hotel?

Complimentary valet and self-parking options are available.

What is checkout time? Will I have to miss a morning session to checkout?

Hotel checkout time is 11 o'clock, late checkouts may be offered based on availability. You may check out and store luggage with the front desk for the rest of Wednesday's sessions.

Presentations/paper submittals

How can I speak at the conference?

We are accepting applications for presentations until November 4th.  Please visit our Call for Speakers page for information on submitting a presentation at the 2012 ACMP Global Conference.

How do I submit a paper for consideration?

We are now accepting paper submissions to be published as part of the conference proceedings.  Please visit the Papers page for more information.

What topics are you requesting speakers for?

Topics of interest for this conference cover many areas of change management and can be seen on our Call for Speakers page.

When do I find out if my speaker submittal was accepted?

All presentation submissions are due by November 4, 2011. Selected submissions will be contacted by December. If you plan to attend the conference even if not selected, please register before this date. There are a limited number of spaces, so you will want to make sure you have a reservation. If you are selected as a speaker, you will receive a refund of your registration fee.

What are the special events during the conference?

We will be holding a Meet & Greet reception on Sunday evening for attendees to network.  Tuesday evening we will hold a Networking Dinner with live entertainment.

Can my family come with me?

Your guests are welcome to stay with you at the hotel. There are plenty of activities and amenities in the area to keep them busy while you are enjoying the conference.

What should I wear?

We want you to be comfortable - business casual is perfect for springtime in Vegas!  Cocktail attire recommended for the Tuesday evening Networking Dinner.
