For 100 years, IBM has
embraced the notion that change is essential for progress.
IBM has a rich history of ongoing reinvention, and their
transformation has accelerated over the past decade as the
company has responded to historic shifts that have reshaped
the IT industry and the global economy including global
integration, new models of computing and changes in client
needs. This session will look at some of the highlights and
lessons learned in IBM's transformation journey towards
becoming a premier Globally Integrated Enterprise which has
resulted in an increased focus on applying change management
techniques to strategic initiatives, building enterprise
change management capabilities and engaging employees in the
journey. This discussion will include how innovative

Biography:
|
Nancy DeViney is Vice President,
Organizational Change Management, at IBM, responsible for
leading a center of excellence for change management that
supports strategic, cross-enterprise initiatives and builds
enterprise change capability.
Prior to this role, Nancy was the VP, Values and
Organizational Capability at IBM, responsible for advancing
IBM's Values-based culture and leadership on a global basis.
Nancy has 36 years of experience in IBM and has held
numerous executive positions including General Manager for
IBM Learning Solutions and also has been the General Manager
of IBM Learning Services, a global business with 3,000
employees in 55 countries responsible for IBM's IT product
training and education services business and Vice President
of Sales Operations and Channels Marketing for IBM Global
Services.
Nancy is a 1975 graduate from Bryant University, was a 2006
recipient of the Distinguished Alumna Award, and currently
serves on their Board of Trustees. |
