Volunteers – the engine
behind ACMP

Thanks to the hard work of our talented volunteers, the Association of Change Management Professionals (ACMP) has made significant strides as a young organization. And in order for us to continue our growth, we depend upon talented and selfless volunteers.

Becoming a volunteer allows you to network with the leading professionals in change management, learn more about this exciting profession, and be on the on the ground floor of a respected professional organization.

Volunteers are currently staffing ACMP’s key activities, including the design and development of our Global/Local Structure, Communications and Stakeholder Engagement, Standards and Certification Development, and annual Global Conference Planning and Execution. Members can check the Member Networking Site for posting of the September 15, 2011 ACMP Member Update Webinar to learn more about progress and status of these volunteer teams. While we have volunteers engaged now on these activities, there are always opportunities to join the effort and become involved to help mature our progress. President Steve Wehrenberg has often cited the metaphor of Amish barn building – it can take months or it can take days – depending on the level of engagement of our members. We welcome all members interested in joining a volunteer team to reach out and complete a Volunteer Application.
